'Twas the week before prom,
And all through the township and borough,
Not a girl's nails were un-manicured,
As they wanted to be thorough.
Tuxedos were ordered,
Corsages were boxed,

Were watching their clocks.
Parents charged their cameras
And prepared their front lawns
For photos of their babies,
Their childhood all gone.
The big hair, the shoulder pads,
The puffy gowns and more,
Big heels, powder blue tuxedos,
Prom style galore!
So many memories caught
