3 Residents Graduate from Lafayette College

Chathamites were among the 566 to earn their degrees.

EASTON, PA -- The following local residents have graduated from Lafayette College in Easton, Pa. The students were among 566 undergraduate students in the Class of 2013 awarded degrees at Lafayette's 178th Commencement.

Anne-Marie Slaughter, one of the nation's most influential commentators on international relations and global issues, gave the commencement address to an audience of family and friends gathered on the campus Quad. Slaughter urged graduates to follow their heart not only when it comes to work but the people they love.

The three residents who graduated are:

  • Sarah Brachfeld of Chatham, N.J. graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in mathematics/philosophy (double major).
  • Anne Flanagan of Green Village, N.J. graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in film and media studies.
  • Kathryn Leto of Chatham, N.J. graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in history/Spanish (double major).

Lafayette is a top liberal arts college with 2,400 students and 215 full-time faculty that offers a wide variety of undergraduate degree programs including engineering.
