VIDEO: Harris Wants to Preserve Chatham's Small Town Appeal

After more than two terms on the Chatham Borough Council, Bruce Harris is running for mayor.

Bruce Harris is the GOP candidate for Chatham Borough Mayor against incumbent Nelson Vaughan. His runningmates are Jim Lonergan and Gerald Helfrich for council, who face Democrat Marcy Wecker for two available spots on the Chatham Borough Council.

Harris is trained as an attorney. He holds an MBA and has 15 years of corporate experience. While serving on the Environmental Commission, Dick Plambeck asked Harris to serve out his term as council member while he served as mayor. Harris stood for election twice since then, once in 2005 and once in 2008.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 8. The deadline to register is Oct. 18.
