Township Charging Station Open til 9

The Chatham Emergency Squad building on Spring Street is open weekdays to accommodate residents who are still without power.

Residents in Chatham Township have more days without power ahead.

The Chatham Township Police released a statement saying JCP&L crews were in town to investigate downed wires and outages, and still estimate a further 7 to 10 days without power for residents.

According to an outage map on the First Energy website, 3,999 customers in Chatham Township remain without power.

Chatham Township officials canceled the weekend's rabies clinic and rescheduled it for Dec. 1.

The Chatham Emergency Squad building on Spring Street is open Thursday until 9 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday.
