Township Administrator Ciccarone to Retire, But Hopes to Return to Post Soon

Move will save township money.

Township Administrator Thomas Ciccarone said this morning he is set to retire Friday but will likely return to his post soon.

Ciccarone said his retirement will allow him to start collecting his pension now, but will soon be rehired by the town at a lower salary than his current $163,000.

Because the township will no longer need to contribute to Ciccarone's pension, it will save money on his salary.
