North Passaic Parking Ban Becomes Law
On-street parking prohibited, except for three-hour limits in pull-in spaces.
The unanimously approved on North Passaic Avenue.
On-street parking on the eastern side of the street between Main Street and Weston Avenue is now prohibited by law. The eastern side of the street is the same side on which the Library of the Chathams and Memorial Park and Pool are located.
A second ordinance allows parking in pull-in spaces for up to three hours at all times. The spaces were added as part of the improvements to Memorial Park.

The ordinance passed by a vote of 5-0, with Councilman James Collander absent from the meeting at the time of the vote.
The ordinances passed Monday's meeting without discussion or comment from the council or public.
