Chatham Township's government flipped the switch on a new municipal website Thursday night. Mayor Nicole Hagner announced the launch of the site during Thursday's Township Committee meeting.

The new URL is www.chathamtownship-nj.gov. The previous domain had a ".org" address, www.chathamtownship.org

"We want it to be relevant and a site the town really does use," Hagner said.

While still a work in progress, the site features improved navigation and functionality, she said. Township employee Tom Salvas worked on the project.

Committee member Katherine Abbott offered one suggestion to make the site more "customer friendly"—setting up a way to email the entire governing body at once, instead of pasting individual officials' email addresses.

What do you think of Chatham Township's new site? Anything you would add or change?
