Meet the Candidates for the Board of Education

Chatham Patch has the complete video from the Meet the Candidates Forum that took place Thursday night at Chatham High School.

The League of Women Votors Chatham Madison Area sponsored the forum and structured a discussion between the candidates with questions submitted by attendees. Candidates were given a two minute introduction, then the moderator asked questions which each candidate had 90 seconds to answer. A 30-second follow-up was optional for the candidates. At the end, each candidate had two minutes for a closing statement.

Elections for the Board of Education, and on the budget for the School District of the Chathams, will be held on April 27 from 2 to 9 p.m. Borough residents will vote at Chatham Middle School, and township residents will vote at Gymnasium C at Chatham High School.

Residents who wish to vote using a mail-in ballot, which is available through the Morris County Clerk's office, must send in their requests by April 20. The application can be picked up in person until April 26 at 3 p.m.
