Meet Board of Ed Candidate Jill Weber

Weber is running for one of two available three-year seats representing Chatham Borough.

Jill Weber is running for one of two available seats on the Board of Education representing Chatham Borough.

Weber is a mother of three boys, all of whom are students in the Chatham schools. She works in finance for Meryl Lynch and has been on the PTO of Washington Avenue School and was on the Executive Board at Washington Avenue School for six years. She has been a borough resident for 19 years.

Weber will compete for votes against incumbent , and for one of two open seats. Jonathan Chatinover, who currently serves on the board as a representative from Chatham Borough, will not run again.

In the township, incumbent is running against for a three-year term on the board. Incumbent is running unopposed for an available one-year seat.

Elections for the Board of Education, and on the budget for the School District of the Chathams, will be held on April 27 from 2 to 9 p.m. Borough residents will vote at Chatham Middle School, and township residents will vote at Gymnasium C at Chatham High School.

Residents who wish to vote using a mail-in ballot, which is available through the Morris County Clerk's office, must send in their requests by April 20. The application can be picked up in person until April 26 at 3 p.m.
