Letter to the Editor: Former Mayor Endorses Collander and Fife

Former Mayor Kiehn cites competence and credibility in his endorsement of Collander and Fife for Chatham Borough Council.

Competence and credibility are two words that come to mind in describing Jim Collander and Vicki Fife. Collander and Fife are running for seats on the Chatham Borough Council on the November 2nd ballot and deserve your consideration.

It takes time and preparation in responsible positions to develop these attributes.  Jim has demonstrated his skills in leadership and finance as chairman of the Borough's Budget and Finance Committee. Vicki has shown her leadership as Chatham High School PTO president in 2008 – 2009. The positive qualifications they possess will lead them to perform above and beyond expectations of service to the Borough. I look forward to their contributions and heartily endorse their candidacy.

On Nov. 2, go to your polling place in the Borough and vote for Collander and Fife.
