Jaycees Gearing Up for Fishawack Run

The Chatham Jaycees came to this week's Borough Council meeting to discuss the upcoming race.

Representatives from the Chatham Jaycees came to the Borough Council meeting Monday night to discuss the upcoming Fishawack Run, a jaunt through the borough that will take place during the annual Fishawack Festival June 12.

Brian Hart and Bill Heap came to show off the race trophy and a race shirt, and posed with the goods with members of the Borough Council.

For those who register by Monday the race costs $20 for adults and $15 for children 15 and under. After then, prices go up to $25 across the board.

There is a four-mile run and a one-mile fun run—the one-miler starts at 9 a.m., while the four-miler starts at 9:30.

The race benefits the ECLC School, the Boy and Girl Scouts, the Chatham Emergency Squad and various PTOs and scholarship funds.
