In-Person Voting Underway at County Clerk's Office

Vote-by-mail-in applications are also being accepted through Aug. 6.

If you plan to be busy on August 13--maybe you're working in New York City, maybe you're taking a last vacation before school starts again--you may want to avail yourself of in-person voting at the Morris County Clerk's Office.

Registered voters in Morris County can choose their primary candidate for the special U.S. Senate election filling Frank Lautenberg's former seat at the clerk's office between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. now through August 9.

Extended voting hours will also be offered between 8:30 a.m. and noon Saturday, August 10 and between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday, August 12.

Those who wish to vote by mail-in ballot can submit those applications now through Tuesday, August 6.

Winners in the primary election will move on to the general election on Oct. 16. The GOP primary candidates are Steven M. Lonegan and Alieta Eck. The Democratic primary candidates are Sheila Y. Oliver, Rush Holt, Frank Pallone, Jr. and Cory Booker.

The Morris County Clerk's Office is located at 10 Court St. in Morristown on the first floor of the Administration and Records Building.
