Four Candidates File in Borough Race; Township Race is Set

In the borough, Council President James Collander will run for another three-year term; Councilman Joseph Marts will not run again.

Anna Tivade and Brian Perez will run as the Democratic candidates for two Borough Council slots that are up for re-election in the borough's June 8 primary.

Council President James Collander has filed to run as a Republican and will be joined in the race by fellow Republican Victoria Fife. Collander's seat is up for re-election, as is that of Councilman Joseph Marts, but Marts has already announced he will not seek re-election.

In the township, Republican Mayor Nicole Hagner and Republican committee member Robert Gallop, whose seats are up for re-election, have filed to run again. No Democrats have filed in the race.
