Chatham Township Launches E-Newsletter

Newsletter to provide information on activities and aims to help improve communication between officials and community members.

The Chatham Township Committee has launched a bi-monthly electronic newsletter to keep residents informed of the activities around town.

The newsletter will be distributed via the Alert Chatham Township Now! (ACT Now!) Emergency & Community Alert system to those who are signed up and will be posted on the township website.

The newsletter will feature a community calendar, as well as news from the township departments, including police, fire and DPW. Each issue will also spotlight a volunteer organization that supports residents and feature a resident photo of the month.

“This newsletter will provide important information and increase awareness of township activities as we continue our efforts to increase the communication between the Township Committee and residents and local businesses,” Mayor Kevin Sullivan said.
