In the wake of the late October snow storm, Chatham Township and Chatham Borough offered one round of brush pick-up to help clear roads and residences of trees and branches.
The borough finished their brush collection on Nov. 20, according to Director Robert Venezia. The township expects . No second round will be offered.
To help keep roads clear, the Chatham Borough Council and Chatham Township Committee ask residents to bring their brush and leaves to the respective mulch areas.
Because of the brush pick-up, the borough, which usually schedules three leaf collections between October and December, only managed two this year. One was before the storm hit, and the second is currently in progress.
"The mulch area can hold a lot more material," said Venezia. "We are not filled to capacity."
