Borough to have Uncontested Primary, Election

Jim Collander and Vicki Fife file to retain their seats.

Two Republican incumbents—and no one else—filed to run for the two seats opening on the Chatham Borough Council by the filing deadline Monday.

Councilmen Vicki Fife and Jim Collander both submitted petitions to the borough clerk to retain their council seats.

Collander has been on the council since 2004. His focus on the council in recent years has been on traffic, pedestrian, sidewalk and parking safety in town, working with the Traffic Safety Officer and various councils to improve these conditions.
