Borough Reorganizes, School Security Coming Up

A look at what to expect on Chatham Patch this week.

Welcome to the first Monday of 2013! There are 358 days left in 2013.

Each Monday we welcome you back to the work week with a look at what to expect in the Chathams. From content you'll find on Patch as the week goes on to community activities, here's what you need to know this week:

1) You need to know about Chatham Borough: And you'll learn it! The borough council meets Monday evening for their annual reorganization, including swearing in reelected members Len Resto and John Holman, and appointing members and officials for the current year.

2) You need to know about school security: And Superintendent Michael LaSusa will discuss school security during his report to the Board of Education when they meet Monday evening, their first meeting since the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.

3) You need to know about 'Broadway in the Boro': The Kean Company returns soon for their annual benefit in Chatham, with a portion of the proceeds to go toward Hurricane Sandy victims.

4) You need to know about the Chatham High swim team: Look for blog posts in the coming weeks from Megan Gesell from the Chatham High School girls swim team.
