Chatham Man Charged in New Year's Bar Fight

Four people arrested in incident at Pure Restaurant and Lounge in Parsippany just after midnight Wednesday.

Four people were arrested after a fight and an altercation with bouncers broke out at Pure Restaurant and Lounge just after the ball dropped for the new year, Parsippany Police said.

Officers from Parsippany, Montville and Mountain Lakes responded to the incident just after midnight Wednesday.

Parsippany Officer Robert Smolen spoke with security personnel who said Mark Corpus, 35, of Chatham, and Michael Corpus, 38, of Colonia, were asked to leave “after they were involved in a scuffle with other unidentified males,” police said.

Two women who were with the Corpuses attacked security personnel when they were asked to leave, according to police. The women—Christina Flores, 35, of Clifton, and Robyn Levy, 32, of Clifton—left scratches on the faces of the bouncers, police said.

Two glass door panes worth $500 were broken during the incident, police said.

Mark Corpus was charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct and released pending an appearance in court. Michael Corpus was charged with disorderly conduct and released pending an appearance in court, police said.

Christina Flores and Robin Levy were charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstruction of the administration of law. Both women were brought to Parsippany Police Headquarters where they were processed before being released pending an appearance in court, police said.
