Window Smashed in Susan Drive Burglary

Several pieces of jewelry stolen from master bedroom, police said.

A bathroom window was smashed on a Susan Drive Home May 3 before someone burglarized the house, according to Chatham Township Police Lt. Maureen Kazaba.

Sgt. Robert Scheetz and Ptl. Dave Schaffer arrived at the home around 10 p.m. and determined that entry was gained through the bathroom window, which was smashed. At that point, Kazaba said the master bedroom was entered and several pieces of jewelry were stolen.

The Morris County Criminal Investigation unit is assisting with the investigation, which is continuing.
