Sgt. Michael Mahoney investigated a trailer which struck the bridge on Washington Avenue Monday at 10:04 a.m.

Mahoney found a tractor trailor, driven by Michael Vlacancich, 30, of North Brunswick was traveling south on Washington when his trailer struck the bridge, police said.
Vlacancich told police he did not know the height of his trailer.

The trailer had to be towed from the scene.
