Township Roads 'Impassable,' Police Warn

Authorities warn residents to stay away from downed wires.

Chatham Township police are urging residents to stay off the roads Tuesday morning. 

Police at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday issued an alert saying that most of the roads in the township are not passable. They urged residents stay off the roads so crews can clear them and reopen them.

Police also advised that there are a substantial amount of electrical wires across roadways and properties. They ask all residents to stay away from any downed wires.
