Star-Ledger reports Susan Durett, the highest ranking female in the Port Authority Police Department, has been suspended.

A Summit resident was arrested by township police for driving while intoxicated after police observed a car driving erratically on Shunpike Road Friday, according to police.

According to the Star-Ledger, the woman, Susan Durett, 58, of Summit, is the highest ranking female in the Port Authority Police Department and has been suspended without pay.

Police said they received a telephone call at 10 p.m. Friday from someone reporting a possible drunk driver heading westbound on Shunpike. Police then found the vehicle, they said, traveling at a low rate of speed. They also said it had crossed over the road's center line several times.
