Chatham Borough woman crossed the center lines and struck another vehicle Sunday afternoon, police said.

Three people suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a head-on collision Sunday afternoon on River Road, Chatham Township Police said.

A preliminary investigation revealed Marcia Salazar-Cerdas, 22, of Chatham Borough, was traveling eastbound and crossed the center lines and struck a vehicle heading westbound at about 3:15 p.m. Sunday, Police Chief Steven Hennelly said.

The Chatham Township Fire Department extricated a passenger in Salazar-Cerdas' vehicle, Hennelly said. The Chatham Emergency Squad transported both drivers and the passenger to Morristown Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
