Road Closures, Power Outages in Chatham Today
Township police reported the closures and outages.
Township police have this morning reported four roads closed within the municipality due to weather-related issues.
According to police, Edgewood Road, Bridge Avenue, Passaic Avenue, Maple Street and Central Avenue are closed in the township. River Road was closed at Henry Drive but is now open, and Mount Vernon Avenue is open.
Bridge Avenue and Central Avenue cross over the Passaic River, and a flood warning is still in effect for the Passaic River at Chatham.
