Icy Roads Cause Car to Overturn in Chatham Borough

Police said there were no injuries in the accident.

Chatham Borough Police said there were no injuries when a car overturned on River Road near Stanley Park Friday.

Lorraine Lake, 54, of Berkeley Heights was traveling south in her 2009 Toyota when she lost control of the car due to icy road conditions, according to Kevin O'Shea of the Chatham Borough Police Department.

The car spun around and went off the road before it came to rest on its roof just before 1 p.m. Friday, O'Shea said.
