No Summons in Main Street Accident

The Chatham Emergency Squad transported one driver to the hospital.

said a driver complaining of pain after a car accident was transported to the hospital Monday.

Patrolman Colatrella investigated a motor vehicle accident on Main Street near North Passaic Avenue at 7:29 p.m. Monday, according to police.

His investigation revealed Hoagan Shi, 35, of Jersey City was driving a 2011 BMW and was stopped in traffic when he was struck from behind, police said.

The other vehicle was a 2009 Honda driven by Sarah Rader, 22, of Berkeley Heights, according to police.

Shi was transported to Morristown Medical Center by the complaining of pain and Radar was uninjured, police said.

The Radar vehicle was towed from the scene and no summonses were issued, according to police.
