Money Stolen From Woman's Purse While at Yoga Class

A Summit resident has been accused of stealing about $50 from a woman's purse while she was at a yoga class in Chatham, police said.

Rebecca Wolfe, 41, has been charged with theft stemming from the May 29 incident at Powerflow Yoga studio on Main Street, police said.

According to police, the yoga studio's owner reviewed the video from the cameras inside the business that showed a woman rifling through purses while the class was in session.

The owner identified the woman seen on the video, police said.

Wolfe was charged and released pending further municipal court action, police said.
