Madison Police Arrest Chatham Man

The following arrest information was supplied by the Madison Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The carried out an arrest warrant on a Chatham resident over the holiday weekend.

Ptl. James Cavezza arrested 22-year-old Matthew Dudley, of Chatham Township, on Dec. 30, 2011 on the strength of a $1,000 warrant issued by Madison Municipal Court for failure to appear.

Lt. Darren Danichsen of the Madison Police Department said Dudley was originally charged with defiant trespassing in 2008.

Cavezza had been contacted by , which had Dudley in custody.

Dudley was taken to Madison headquarters for processing and then to the Morris County Correctional Facility pending a court appearance.
