Green Village Woman Charged With DWI in Shunpike Road Crash
Minor accident resulted in no injuries Wednesday afternoon.
A Green Village woman was under the influence of alcohol when she was involved in an accident Wednesday afternoon on Shunpike Road, Chatham Township Police said.
Elizabeth Hathaway, 28, was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated in a school zone and careless driving.
Officer Michael Bloom responded to a report of an accident on Shunpike Road at about 12:10 p.m. on Wednesday. Bloom detected an odor of alcohol on Hathaway's breath, police said.
Hathaway was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters and released with a May 13 municipal court date.
The accident was minor and there were no reported injuries, police said.
