Girl Hit By Car on School Avenue
The Chatham Emergency Squad transported one girl to an area hospital.
The confirmed that it transported a female minor to a local hospital after she was hit by a car on School Avenue Tuesday at approximately 3 p.m. Tuesday. The squad would not say what hospital the girl was taken to.
Chatham Township Police also responded to the scene but did not immediately respond to requests for comments. Squad members would not disclose any further details about the incident.
The parking lot for is located on School Avenue. The lot has been pointed to as a possible resource for school officials to utilize in lieu of at , which many have said is already too congested with young drivers and unsafe conditions for pedestrians and bikers.
