Cops: Golf Cart, Computers Stolen From Club

Police investigating burglary over Memorial Day weekend.

Police received a report of a golf cart found in the woods off Princeton Street Sunday shortly after 7 a.m.

The cart was found to belong to Minisink Swim Club and was apparently stolen from the club overnight and driven until it was dumped in the woods, according to police.

Further investigation revealed the office area of the swim club was burglarized and several pieces of electronics were taken, police said.

Among the items taken were three laptop computers, an iPad and three air horns, according to police.
