Cops: Minor Injuries in Main Street Accident

Police issued a summons for careless driving to a Berkeley Heights resident.

The transported two people to Morristown Medical Center following a two-car accident Thursday.

responded to the intersection of Main Street and Dunbar Street for a two-car accident with injuries at 10:19 a.m. Thursday, police said.

A 2008 Chrysler driven by Maxine McInulty, 33, of Summit was stopped on Main Street when she was struck from behind, according to police.

The car that struck her was a 2008 Toyota driven by Omar Abusada, 44, of Berkeley Heights, police said.

The occupants of both cars reported minor injuries and were transported to Morristown Medical Center, according to police.

Abusada was issued a summons for careless driving, police said.
