Chatham Emergency Squad Hosts First Aid Class

Event is part of National EMS Week.

The Chatham Emergency Squad will hold a free First Aid class on Thursday, May 22.

This class will be for adult residents of Chatham Borough or Chatham Township.  The two-hour class will start at 7 p.m. Space is limited to the first 25 individuals who register by emailing missycotter_cestraining@yahoo.com.

The First Aid class is one of several activities planned to celebrate National EMS Week from May 18 to 24.

Attendees will learn how to recognize signs and symptoms of medical emergencies, what to do, and why it’s important to call 911 without delay.

The Chatham Emergency Squad welcomes new members and trains them to be EMTs. For more information, call 973-377-1131 or visit www.chathamemergencysquad.org/volunteer.htm.
