Chatham Digs Out From Nor'easter, Another Storm on the Way

With more than a foot of snow already on the ground, up to 3 more inches is expected on Saturday.

After the Chatham Borough DPW worked through the night clearing snow in the downtown area, another small burst of precipitation is expected Saturday.

A winter weather advisory has been issued with periods of snow throughout the day and a total of 1 to 3 inches by Saturday evening, according to the National Weather Service.

The latest storm comes on the heels of Thursday's nor'easter that dumped more than a foot of snow throughout the region. The Chatham Borough Department of Public Works was expected to clear the downtown area on Main Street between Fairmount Avenue and North Hillside Avenue during the overnight hours.

The Chatham Fire Department also reminds residents to clear snow from all hydrants.
