Catching the Train Friday Morning? Expect Delays
Fairmount Avenue will be closed near the train station until 9 a.m. Friday.
Chatham Borough sent out a notification through their new alert system Thursday warning those who use New Jersey Transit to expect delays Friday.
Fairmount Avenue will be closed between 2nd Street and Railroad Plaza South starting at 8:30 p.m. Thursday. The closure is expected to end at 9 a.m. Friday morning.
Railroad Plaza South is the entrance to the NJ Transit Chatham Station closes to the Chatham Borough Municipal Building.

The train station will be accessible from the Main Street entrance, and road detours will be in place.
