Cops: Caddy Threatens Employee, Lies About Identity

Police find multiple warrants out.

A caddy at Fairmount Country Club made threats against another employee Saturday before providing incorrect information about his identity to police, according to Chatham Township police.

Police said Derrick J. Zlu, of East Orange, was eventually arrested. Police said they were only called to the scene, however, after Zlu made the threats against another worker at the club.

When they arrived, police said, Zlu lied about his identity. Eventually, however, police said, they determined his true identity. They discovered there were multiple warrants for his arrest, including a no-bail warrant from the state parole department.
