Borough Police Make Two Warrant Arrests

A Summit man was arrested Thursday on an outstanding warrant out of Madison, said Friday.

Patrolman Andrew Perreira was conducting an investigation on Commerce Street and determined Frankie Andrews, 54, had an outstanding warrant out of Madison, police said. Andrews was transported to headquarters for processing and released on his own recognizance pending further court action.

Patrolman Wayne Shivers arrested Jules Gamaniel, 37, of Maplewood, on Tuesday after determining his license was suspended and he had an oustanding warrant out of Scotch Plains, police said.

Gamaniel was transported to headquarters for processing and he posted $81 bail. He was issued a summons for driving with a suspended license and released pending further court action.
