Borough Police Arrest Union City Woman on Warrants

Woman was driving in Chatham.

A Union City woman was arrested by borough police after police discovered she had two active warrants issued against her.

Grisel Soto-Perez, 41, of Union City, was arrested by borough police on the two active warrants, which were issued by Union City.

Police said a random license plate check indicated the vehicle's owner had the warrants. Police said they identified the car, initiated a motor vehicle stop and took Soto-Perez into custody.

She was transported to Police Headquarters where $528 in bail was posted and she was released.
