Borough Police Arrest Two for Alleged DWI

The following information was obtained directly from the Chatham Borough Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Chatham Borough Police arrested two men in two separate incidents during the week of Thanksgiving for allegedly driving while intoxicated.

On Wednesday, Nov. 23, Patrolman Daniel Walsh was off duty and driving to work on Route 24 when he observed a pick-up truck weaving across both lanes of traffic, making it difficult for vehicles to pass, police said.

According to a statement released this week, Walsh followed the truck and noticed the front right tire was flat and riding on its rim.
