Bloomfield Man Not Guilty of Bomb Threat

All charges against David Tucker were dismissed on Aug. 15.

David Tucker was found not guilty of all charges related to bomb threats he allegedly made against Suburban Florist in March.

Tucker appeared before the Hon. Gary F. Troxwell in Joint Municipal Court of Madison, the Chathams and Harding Township for trial on Wednesday, Aug. 15.

After the trial, Troxwell dismissed all charges. No fines or costs were assigned to Tucker.

arrested Tucker, a Bloomfield resident, in March after  an employee received a threat to blow up the building via text message, according to police.

Tucker admitted sending the text message but stated it was a joke, police said.
