Twp. Man 'Impressed by Sullivan's Energy'

Sullivan is one of two candidates actively campaigning for the 2012 Republican primary in Chatham Township.

Editor:

I am writing in support of Kevin Sullivan and his candidacy for a position on the Committee. I have known Kevin and his family for almost 10 years and as neighbors for the past seven years. I am consistently impressed by Kevin’s energy, enthusiasm, creativity and commitment.

I have worked alongside Kevin in a number of school, parish, and athletic leadership roles in Chatham.  As the athletic director, coach, and a long time board member of ’s Athletic Association, Kevin regularly applied his leadership experience in expanding programs and building relationships throughout Morris County.  As a testament to his commitment, he remains involved even after his children have graduated.  Furthermore, Kevin is a driving force in improving and building community.  He is an original organizer of the St. Pat’s Community 5K, an event which attracts hundreds of participants each year.

In the current economic environment, a vigilant focus on Township costs and controlling taxes is critical to ensuring that Chatham remains a great place to live.  Kevin’s pride in Chatham, his professional and community experience, and his judicious approach to problem solving would make him a tremendous addition to the Township Committee.

I wholly support Kevin Sullivan for Township Committee and urge other Township residents to do the same.
