I’ve known Laura Ali Nonnenmacher for many years from our numerous volunteer activities in Chatham. I’m always amazed by her unbounded enthusiasm and passion for her community, her creative approach to solving problems and her ability to mobilize and motivate others.

She’s been a valued strategist, fundraiser and marketer in her many volunteer roles and she’s always at the heart of efforts to improve communications and transparency in all organizations she’s a part of. It is these skills and attributes that will provide a new energy and perspective to the Chatham Township Committee.

With Laura Ali Nonnenmacher on the Chatham Township Committee, I have confidence that:

  • opportunities to reach out to residents will be explored and expanded;
  • there will be proactive, creative steps in dealing with immediate concerns like keeping taxes low and encouraging business development in the Hickory Shopping Center and;
  • all business of the Township Committee will be approached with a compassion and understanding for the people as well as the analysis, the facts and the details behind each undertaking.

I know that’s what I’d like to see in my elected representative. I hope you will agree. Vote Laura Ali Nonnenmacher on June 5! Thank you!
