New Jersey Youth Symphony Plays Halloween Music to Scare
New Jersey Youth Symphony (NJYS) will put the fright in Halloween as it performs some of the scariest music ever written on Sunday, October 27 beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the New Providence High School auditorium. The Halloween Concert, open to the public, features the NJYS Youth Symphony and Youth Orchestra dressed in costume. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors, and $5 for children 12 and under in costume. Tickets can be purchased in advance at New Jersey Youth Symphony or at the door. Everyone is invited to dress in their Halloween best. New Providence High School is located at 35 Pioneer Drive in New Providence.
The Halloween program includes appearances by Darth Vader and the Invisible Man conducting such Halloween hits as music from Star Wars and Pirates of the Caribbean. Besides the Halloween costumes donned by the orchestra, spooky decorations and special effects will create a chilling experience for young and old alike. Halloween treats will be given to all children.
