Chatham Wrestlers Beat New Providence

While many residents of Chatham sought shelter and the comforts of home following the historic winter storm of Feb. 8, the Chatham Youth Wrestling Club played host to New Providence. Chatham would "Win Win" this match with 6 pins.

Darius Khani (55) then pinned his opponent in the third period of his match. Following a loss at the 60 pound weight class, John Rohe (65) pinned his opponent in 16 seconds. Chatham was then awarded 12 points with forfeits at 70 (Connor Cortese) and 75 (Michael Rohe). Phil Hoerrner (80) then pinned his opponent in the first period. PJ Joel (85) then beat his opponent 9-2 which was followed by a second period pin from Jack Kimber (90).

This put Chatham up 42 to 6. Following losses at 96 and 102, Eric Davis (109) pinned his opponent in the first period. The match of the day came from Luke Ciccarelli (116). Although Luke lost 4-1, it was the best technical match of the day. Matthew Tether (123) then pinned his opponent in 18 seconds.

The most exciting match of the day came from Niccolo Colucci (130). This match featured three periods of roller coaster wrestling with the score tied 9-9 at the end of the third period. Many thanks to Township Administrator Tom Ciccarone and to DPW who plowed the Mountainview parking lot early so that we could get this match in. The Chatham Wrestling Club is run by John Nonnenmacher and Scot Ciccarelli.

Clearly you misunderstood my post. Too bad you overlooked the accomplishments of the boys who wrestled proudly on behalf of Chatham. Shame on you.Not sure I have any muscle left and if I do, they certainly are not political. I did not ask anyone to do anything. I got to the gym expecting an avalanche and the parking lot was shoveled. I was very grateful and extended a thank you to those in charge. For your information, baseball tryouts were held in the same gym. You are obviously an asshole. The wrestling club has more than a few kids. Do you volunteer? How about this, I am up for re-election.Why dont you run against me.
