On Dece. 8 and 9, the Chatham Youth Wrestling Club participated in the Montville Team Dual Tournament at Montville Township High School.
Although everyone on Chatham's team wrestled well at this event, Anthony Scerbo distinguished himself by winning all three of his matches on Dec. 8 in the 80-pound weight class. Since the team has multible wrestlers in this weight class, Anthony did not wrestle on Sunday.
On Saturday, Anthony pinned his first opponent from Ridge Wrestling 25 seconds into the second period. Anthony than beat his next opponent from Hanover Township 6-4. In this match, the score was tied 4-4 in the third period. With seconds on the clock, Anthony took his opponent down to win the match 6-4. In his last match of the day, Anthony pinned his opponent from South Orange with a headlock in just 24 seconds.
