'Scrumptious Pies' a Hit at Senior Center Luncheon

Event saw record turnout; holiday cocktail party nears.

The Senior Center of the Chathams had a record 75 attendees at its annual Thanksgiving luncheon this year.

The festive Nov. 18 event featured free turkey and trimmings thanks to the Municipal Alliance Committee of the Chathams, and pies courtesy of Chatham High School students.

"Chatham High School’s Key Club provided the scrumptious pies with no shortage of everyone’s favorite—pumpkin," a center blog post about the event says.
