The Chatham Turkey Trot is Coming Soon!

We are pleased to invite your family and friends to kick-off the Holiday Season by participating in the 3rd Annual Chatham Highlands Turkey Trot, hosted and organized by The Chatham Turkey Trot, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

This annual event has fast become a Highlands tradition and is expected to continue to grow in size and popularity.  Last year, more than 140 runners participated in the 1 Mile Fun Run and 5K Family Fun Run, which raised $4,000 for the Chatham Township Volunteer Fire Department and the Diabetes Research Institute. This year’s event will take place on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 24th. We will again meet at the corner of Seminole Drive and Van Houton Drive. Please note:

• You must register by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, November 16th in order to take advantage of the early bird registration fee and to receive a commemorative race T–shirt.  The fee to register for both kids and adults is $15/1 Mile Run  and $20/5K Family Fun Run. Email TheChathamTurkeyTrot@gmail.com to register.

• When registering, please indicate the name of the individual, their age and T-shirt size.  Available sizes are: (Youth Medium, Youth Large, Adult Small, Adult Medium, Adult Large or Adult XL).

• After November 16th the registration fee will be $25.  

Pre-race warm-ups/registration will begin at 8:00 AM. The 1 Mile Fun Run will start at approximately 8:30 AM and the 5K Family Fun Run will begin at approximately 9:00 AM. Everything should conclude by 10:00 AM, which should give you and your family enough time to coordinate, or travel to, your  respective Thanksgiving festivities.
