The Sierra Club Loantaka Group invites you to come to its March 10 general meeting for a presentation by Dr. Daniela Shebitz, Professor of Ecology at Kean University.
Dr. Shebitz will cover the concept of Carbon Sequestration - Carbon Capture & Storage (CSS). She will discuss its impact or non-impact on combating climate change and its impact on wetlands preservation. Following her presentation, there will be a general discussion of the proposal to construct a massive coal-fired power plant which will pilot the use of CSS technology in Linden, New Jersey.
