The Senior Services Center of the Chathams is celebrating 20 years of service to the community, offering enrichment activities for active adults, bus service for Chatham seniors, and resource information for seniors and their families. To commemorate this special milestone, area seniors are invited to an Open House during the month of September.
A 20th anniversary barbecue for the center will take place on Sept. 14. Festivities will begin at 11 a.m. The center's instructors and activity coordinators will be on hand to speak about their classes and answer any questions.
The Chatham Community Band Ensemble will play from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A complementary hot dog and hamburger lunch will follow.

All are encouraged to come by, meet the staff and instructors, tour the spacious facility and see the variety of programs and activities the center has to offer.
