Kiwanis Holiday Nut Sale

November is Chatham-Madison Kiwanis nut sale time.  During the holiday season, members of the club will be selling a variety of nuts and candy.  Said Stu Shippey of Madison, chairman of this Kiwanis project, "Our shipment of fresh, high quality pecans, walnuts, pistachios, cashews, almonds, peanuts, deluxe mixed nuts and other products just arrived recently. Another shipment will arrive before Christmas. Income from this project will fund our local youth-oriented charities and scholarships." Shippey programmed an Adobe Acrobat form which customers can use to order nuts over the Internet.  The form can be found by going to web site www.chathamkiwanis.org and clicking on the Nut Sale Form link in the upper right hand corner of the home page. The nuts will also be sold at two local supermarkets.

On Saturday November 20 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Kiwanis members will sell nuts in front of ShopRite Supermarket, Hickory Square Mall, 641 Shunpike Rd., Chatham Township. On Sunday November 21 from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm members will be at the entrance to Kings Supermarket, 393 Main Street in Chatham Borough, selling the fresh products. Members of Drew University Circle K Club, a service club sponsored by Kiwanis, will help sell the nuts.
